The Granary lies in an idyllic Cotswold village, set in an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. Totally unspoilt and peaceful, Broadwell retains the charm of quintessential English village life, and is very close to Stow on the Wold and Bourton-On-the-Water.
Our cottage, built of the local honey-coloured stone, is a cosy hideaway, nestling in a small close of similar properties. Comfortable and well –equipped, the Granary is the ideal holiday base. The Master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. There is a pretty garden to the rear, fully enclosed, with patio furniture and a barbecue.
Ground floor - A welcoming lounge, with a Cotswold stone fireplace. Comfortable seating for 6 and a breakfast table with 4 chairs. The kitchen is excellently fitted with modern appliances. The separate dining room seats 6 and there is also a downstairs cloakroom with toilet and washbasin
We provide a dishwasher; washing machine, electric fan assisted oven and hob, microwave; coffee maker, fridge and separate freezer, Freeview Television and DVD/Video player; radio/CD player.
First Floor , with 3 bedrooms - Master Bedroom suite with en-suite Bathroom and Queen size bed. The en-suite bathtub has a hand-held shower, but no walk in shower. There is a 2nd Double bedroom and a 3rd bedroom with twin beds. All bedrooms have views over the garden. The family bathroom has a bath, hand-held shower with shower screen, W.C. and wash basin.
The Master bedroom also has its own Digital TV and all bedrooms have hair-dryers.
We also supply a range of books, board games and DVDs, along with an Information Pack with details of places to eat, drink and visit. The Granary is just two miles from the renowned Daylesford Organic Shop
Broadwell makes a wonderful base to explore the Cotswolds. The area is rich with historic attractions, such as Blenheim Place and Warwick Castle. Broadway, Evesham, Stratford-Upon-Avon , Oxford, Bath and Cirencester are easily reached. Many National Trust houses and gardens may be visited, and there is a wide range of activities for children. Many excellent walks criss-cross the finest landscapes of rolling hills and villages in the area.
Ample opportunities exist for dining out at restaurants or delightful village inns The nearest is the "Fox" on Broadwell village green, just minutes walk away and offering good food and real ale. Children are welcome. Close by is Stow-on-the-Wold with a variety of inns, restaurants and shops, including a Tesco supermarket.
Car parking is outside the house. We regret that we do not accept pets or smokers.

The city of Gloucester, for example, is where William the Conqueror ordered the creation of the Domesday Book and the magnificent cathedral here has many connections with the Norman kings of England. With our Gloucestershire cottage holidays, you’re just a short drive away. Make sure Berkeley Castle is also on your itinerary. This 12th century castle has been owned by the Berkeley family since its foundation and is now a fine stately home, packed with art treasures, tapestries, silver, porcelain and furniture.
Then there’s elegant, genteel Cheltenham, with its grand terraces, much frequented by the lords and ladies of Georgian times and now home to some very smart shops. Or step back in time to Tewkesbury, where timbered buildings sit crowded on the banks of the rivers Avon and Severn. And don’t miss bohemian Stroud, where you’ll find a great selection of cafés and pubs.
